Allison Holker<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s daughter Weslie<\/strong><\/a> opened up about her late stepfather Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/strong><\/a> and defended her mom amid controversies online.<\/p>\n The 16-year-old, whom Allison<\/strong> welcomed in a previous relationship, took to social media on Friday (January 10) as her mother was receiving blowback for the impending publication of a memoir. The book will reportedly share personal details about her late husband<\/a>, who passed away<\/a> in December 2022. <\/p>\n She was accused of \u201cdisgracing\u201d his name<\/a> to make a paycheck. There were also reports that she made his family sign NDAs before attending his funeral. <\/p>\n In a video, Weslie<\/strong> explained that things have been taken out of context. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMy stepdad\u2019s been gone for two years and I\u2019m still getting hate comments \u2026 it\u2019s just complicated and for no reason, because this is not just a social media gig, this is literally my life,\u201d she said in a live video on Instagram, via People<\/a>. She added that she is \u201csick of getting hate comments and seeing my mom get hate for literally losing the person that she loves.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that Stephen<\/strong> was her dad, even if he wasn\u2019t her birth father. <\/p>\n \u201cFor 13 years, my parents were together, and for 13 years he was the person I would go to about everything,\u201d she recalled. \u201cHe\u2019s the person I would cry to. He\u2019d wake me up every morning, we\u2019d get breakfast. He\u2019s the person that I would see when he came home from work with. We lived in the same four walls and now I\u2019m getting hate for him leaving, and I don\u2019t get it. It\u2019s hurtful.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, saying, \u201cAnd I guess I\u2019m trying to describe our relationship because I see people saying that it\u2019s not my place because I\u2019m not his biological daughter, but he never made me feel like anything besides his daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n As for allegations about the NDAs, Weslie<\/strong> said that her mom had them signed for anyone who was attending an open casket viewing. <\/p>\n \u201cWe had a funeral and then we had a wake, and my mom asked for NDAs to be signed when we were seeing Stephen\u2019s body because God forbid somebody that went to that took a photo of Stephen and put it on the internet or shared it with somebody else \u2014 that\u2019s the type of things that NDAs are for,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s not so you can never talk about Stephen, you can\u2019t ever talk about you grieving him, you can\u2019t post about it. That\u2019s not what it is.\u201d <\/p>\n Weslie<\/strong> added that she was \u201cgrateful\u201d that her mom took that step since it protected her father. <\/p>\n \u201cBut also regardless, some people didn\u2019t even sign the NDAs and my mom was lenient because she understands at the end of the day, this is family, so you all want to disrespect her and she\u2019s still nice, she\u2019s still kind, she\u2019s still forgiving,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n She added that the discussion about NDAs added a dark spot to the day, saying, \u201cThat whole day was supposed to be beautiful. And instead it was less than that. We were going to say our goodbyes and instead people were yelling at each other and bashing my mom.\u201d<\/p>\n
