For those who started the 2025 by setting their Goodreads goal for the year, Us Weekly<\/em> has a treat for you.<\/p>\n

There are tons of books set to be released this year \u2014 in both the fiction and memoir genres \u2014 but a few stand out among the rest. Emily Henry<\/strong><\/a> is constantly cranking out new books, and this year is no different. Her newest, titled Great Big Beautiful Life<\/em><\/a>, is set to be published in April, just in time for those summer romances.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I can tell you about the book is it feels like a spiritual heir to Beach Read<\/em>, but it\u2019s different,\u201d Henry teased to Us Weekl<\/em>y exclusively last year. \u201cIt feels like my first real departure, but it is still both a love story and a romance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The author noted that it was a \u201creally emotional\u201d experience writing Great Big Beautiful Life<\/em>. \u201cIt really gripped me in a way that I hadn\u2019t been gripped in a while,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

The third book in The Empyrean<\/em> presumably starts where the last one left off, with dragon riders Violet and Xaden (who, spoiler alert, turned into a venin) figuring out their next steps after saving Basgiath War College.<\/p>\n

Onyx Storm<\/em> will be released on January 21.<\/p>\n

Another Hazelwood romance? Yes, please. The Love Hypothesis<\/em> author is set to introduce Scarlett Vandermeer, a platform diver in her junior year of college, who is thrown into a sudden romantic arrangement with swim captain Lukas Blomqvist.<\/p>\n

Deep End<\/em> will be released on February 4.<\/p>\n

The comedian is back at it again with another book, set to be released on her 50th birthday. Handler has a new batch of vulnerable (and hilarious) essays for fans that span the years from childhood to adulthood.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll Have What She\u2019s Having<\/em> will be released on February 25.<\/p>\n

Collins is back with another prequel to The Hunger Games<\/em><\/a> series. This time around, fans of the books will be getting to hear Haymitch Abernathy\u2019s story.<\/p>\n

Sunrise on the Reaping<\/em> will be released on March 18.<\/p>\n

\u2018Elphie: A Wicked Childhood\u2019 by Gregory Maguire<\/h3>\n

Just as the Wicked<\/em><\/a> hype will be dying down, Maguire is bringing Elphaba\u2019s story before Shiz University to life.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s nothing better than reading a Fortune book by a body of water (we assume that\u2019s how Meghan Markle<\/strong> read her last book, which she has since optioned to adapt), so just get ready. Alice is a photographer who snapped a photo of Charlie Florek when they were just teens \u2014 but now he\u2019s all grown up.<\/p>\n

One Golden Summer<\/em> will be released on May 6.<\/p>\n

Taking place during the 1980s Space Shuttle program, this story follows Joan Goodwin and her battle to go to space.<\/p>\n

Atmosphere<\/em> will be released on June 3.<\/p>\n
