The 77-year-old star portrayed the bouffanted villain in 1996\u2019s \u2018101 Dalmations\u2019 and says despite her long career the younger generation know her best for the role.<\/p>\n
She added during an appearance on \u2018The View\u2019 how children also find it terrifying if she gets into character as the dognapper in reality: \u201cIt\u2019s so funny, kids now know me as Cruella. <\/p>\n
\u201cI one time did (her) laugh when I saw a little kid. And then the little girl started crying.\u201d<\/p>\n
Along with \u2018101 Dalmations\u2019 Glenn\u2019s other most famous roles include parts in films such from \u2018Fatal Attraction\u2019 to 1982\u2019s \u2018The World According to Garp\u2019 and \u2018The Wife\u2019 \u2013 and has amassed dozens of accolades including eight Oscar nominations.<\/p>\n
\nShe added on \u2018The View\u2019 about how she is approaching her work as she ages: \u201cI\u2019m feeling as excited about work as I\u2019ve ever felt.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don\u2019t want to repeat myself because that\u2019s boring, and so I\u2019m trying to find things that stretch me in different ways. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou just hope you get offered something that\u2019s interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHer latest role is in \u2018Back in Action\u2019, an action-comedy in which she stars as a former spy alongside Jamie Foxx, 57, and 52-year-old Cameron Diaz.<\/p>\n
\nShe said on \u2018The View\u2019 even though she is approaching 80 she did her own stunts in the movie, which comes out on Netflix on 17 January.<\/p>\n
\nGlenn added: \u201cIt was fun. I like doing stuff like that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThis movie has a lot of fights and guns, but no blood \u2014 which I kind of like.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGlenn\u2019s TV work has seen her received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role in the ABC film \u2018Something About Amelia\u2019 in 1984.<\/p>\n
\nShe later won three of the gongs, including outstanding lead actress in a Limited series or movie for portraying Margarethe Cammermeyer in the NBC\u2019s \u2018Serving in Silence\u2019, as well as outstanding lead actress in a drama series twice consecutively for playing Patty Hewes in legal drama \u2018Damages\u2019, which ran from 2007 to 2012.<\/p>\n
