The Real Housewives of Potomac<\/i><\/a>\u2019s Karen Huger<\/a><\/strong> will be missing from the season 9 reunion taping to focus on her health.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaren made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,\u201d Huger\u2019s manager, Ryan Tresdale<\/strong>, said in a statement to Bravo\u2019s The Daily Dish<\/a> on Thursday, January 9. \u201cShe was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, Bravo shared a sneak peek of the upcoming reunion and Huger, 61, was noticeably absent from the cast.<\/p>\n

\u201cDropping the #RHOP Season 9 Reunion seating chart here,\u201d Bravo wrote via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cMore info to come soon\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Mia Thornton<\/strong>, Wendy Osefo<\/strong> and newcomer Stacey Rusch<\/strong><\/a> were seated on one side of host Andy Cohen<\/strong>. On the other side were Gizelle Bryant<\/strong>, Ashley Darby<\/strong> and newbie Keiarna Stewart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere is Karen??\u201d The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i> star Porsha Williams<\/strong> wrote in the comments section as fans speculated where the original Real Housewives of Potomac<\/i> star could be.<\/p>\n

In a separate Instagram Story, Bravo posted a photo of Cohen\u2019s hand touching Bryant\u2019s freshly manicured nails. \u201cHolding space for the #RHOP reunion,\u201d the network wrote. \u201cFilming now.\u201d<\/p>\n

In December 2024, Huger, 61, was convicted<\/a> of DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of an address change, according to a report from Fox5 DC<\/a>. The report also stated she was acquitted of one charge of reckless driving.<\/p>\n

After the guilty verdict, the police body cam footage<\/a> from Huger\u2019s arrest was also released.<\/p>\n

The reality star \u2014 whose nickname is the Grand Dame \u2014 is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, January 29, and faces up to two years behind bars.<\/p>\n

Throughout season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac<\/i>, Huger said she has been limited about what she can say about her case that stemmed from a Maryland car accident in March 2024.<\/p>\n
