Denise Richards<\/strong> <\/a>was the first star to really get vulnerable on season 3 of Special Forces: The World\u2019s Toughest Test.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody comes on the show for a reason. On day one, we look at people and say, in [our] own minds, \u2018Why are you here?\u2019 But actually, we know why you\u2019re here,\u201d Directing Staff instructor Billy Bingham<\/strong> said in a joint interview with fellow soldier and star Rudy Reyes<\/strong> at Us Weekly\u2019s<\/em> NYC studio on Thursday, January 9. \u201cYou are here because you\u2019ve lost direction. You need to re-challenge yourself. You wanna be brought back to reality because that\u2019s what this show does.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the Wednesday, January 8, premiere<\/a>, Richards, 53, \u201cfroze\u201d during the first task \u2014 which required<\/a> contestants to jump from a speeding boat to a speeding helicopter and climb into the helicopter \u2014 and was subsequently called in to speak with the staff.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m completely overcome by certain fearful situations, and I want to learn how to stay calm and do something,\u201d the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum explained. \u201cPart of the reason I wanted to do this course is I\u2019ve been in situations where I freeze and I can\u2019t function, I can\u2019t even speak to protect myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDenise Richards is remaining tight-lipped about her stint on Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test season 3, but did shed some light on her journey. \u201cIt was the most challenging thing I\u2019ve ever done, ever, ever,\u201d Richards, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly on Sunday, December 1, while attending The Hollywood Christmas Parade supporting Marine Toys for [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Richards revealed that the first time she ever experienced this was when she was 15.<\/p>\n

\u201cI noticed a man following me. He came up from behind me, put his hand around my mouth, grabbed my vagina, and started dragging me,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I froze, like, I couldn\u2019t even scream for help.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards had previously only told husband Aaron Phypers<\/strong> about the incident. \u201cIt\u2019s so scary to have that situation, you know, [at] that age and be so vulnerable,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I have three daughters, and I want them to be able to never go through that. And also, if something, God forbid, happen to be strong enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress, who competed on season 3 of Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test, revealed she ended up rupturing her breast implants during one of the grueling tasks. \u201cI jumped off a bridge, too \u2014 and that\u2019s when [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBefore we do the mirror room, even [if it\u2019s only been 12 hours], you\u2019ve already put through a phase of deprivation,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re tired, you\u2019re hungry, you don\u2019t care anymore. You\u2019re more open. Now there\u2019s something about that, what we call the mirror room. I don\u2019t know why it is \u2014 and we are not psychologists and we have no idea what that story\u2019s gonna be right out of that person\u2019s mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n
