\t\t<\/p>\n Governor Gavin Newsom<\/strong><\/a> has responded to President Elect Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> blaming him for the horrible fires plaguing California. <\/p>\n As fires rage across the city of Los Angeles, Donald<\/strong> took to his Truth Social<\/a> social media platform on Wednesday (January 8) to diss the governor of the state. <\/p>\n \u201cGovernor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,\u201d he alleged. <\/p>\n The governor\u2019s press office denied the existence of such a declaration in a post on X (formerly Twitter)<\/a>.<\/p>\n He was personally asked about the comments during an interview. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Appearing on CNN, Gavin<\/strong> noted just how serious the situation was. <\/p>\n \u201cPeople are literally fleeing. People have lost their lives. Kids lost their schools. Families completely torn asunder. Churches burned down. This guy wanted to politicize it. I have a lot of thoughts, and I know what I want to say. I won\u2019t,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The governor continued, praising President Joe Biden<\/strong><\/a> for his support: \u201cI stood next to the President of the United States of America today, and I was proud to be with Joe Biden<\/strong>, and he had the backs of every single person in this community.
