Allison Holker<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the tragic death of her husband Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/strong><\/a>, who died by suicide in December 2022<\/a> at the age of 40.<\/p>\n The 36-year-old dancer is now speaking out about the days leading up to his death and finding drugs a closet while preparing for his funeral.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was with one of my really dear friends, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,\u201d Allison <\/strong>told People<\/em> <\/a>about finding a stash of drugs.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed. It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about]. It was a really scary moment in my life to figure that out, but it also helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame in that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n She says she found a \u201ccornucopia\u201d of drugs including pills, mushrooms, and \u201cother substances I had to look up on my phone\u201d hidden inside some shoe boxes. <\/p>\n She also shared that they were very open about his marijuana use, and he would head to their guest house after their kids were asleep to have alone time.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was his alone time. It was his time to recharge, and that was okay,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n About coping with his death, she shared, \u201cReading Stephen<\/strong>\u2018s journals, and even going back into the books he had read and the things that he was highlighting and lining, really gave me a better perspective of where he was in life and the type of things he was struggling with. It did have me feel a lot of empathy towards him and sadness for all the pain that he was holding.\u201d <\/p>\n Around the time of his passing, he was going through some issues but Allison <\/strong>says he was \u201cvery careful about this wording.\u201d<\/p>\n He was bathing less frequently, had become more withdrawn, and, to her, \u201cIt seemed like, \u2018Oh, he\u2019s taking a resting period,\u2019 which he would say he\u2019s never had.\u201d <\/p>\n His mom revealed his finals text before his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n Our continued thoughts are with Stephen<\/strong>\u2018s friends, family, and loved ones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
