\nThe 43-year-old reality star – who separated from Edwin Arroyave in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage – took to social media on Monday (06.01.25) to share that she was having trouble sleeping but insisted that she wasn’t “saying it for pity” and just wanted to help others who may be going through the same thing. <\/p>\n
\nShe wrote on Instagram: “Woke up today at 3 a.m. with raging anxiety. Woke up today at 3am with raging anxiety. I don’t say this for pity- it’s for anyone else who woke up with any of the following: symptoms of anxiety disorders may include: trouble concentrating or making decisions. feeling irritable, tense or restless. experiencing nausea or abdominal distress. having heart palpitations. sweating, trembling or shaking. trouble sleeping. having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom.”<\/p>\n
\nThe former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star – who has Slate, 12, Cruz, 10 and four-year-old Dove with her estranged husband – explained to her followers that “meditation” and “being able to hug someone [she] loves” are just two of the coping mechanisms she uses when it comes to her mental health.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “Gratitude lists: I am grateful for my health, my kids, that I go back to work today, people who make me laugh and understand anxiety isn’t a choice”, before advising that “fresh air”, “Setting boundaries” and some form of exercise are also helpful when it comes to ameliorating symptoms of anxiety. <\/p>\n
\nTeddi previously shared that when she “made the difficult decision to file for divorce”, she didn’t necessarily want to speak out about it publicly but felt that she had to “protect” her loved ones. <\/p>\n
\nAt the time, she wrote on Instagram: “After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.<\/p>\n
\n“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward. (sic)”<\/p>\n
