Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> is being roasted by snooty neighbors in Montecito, California, once again \u2013 this time in the German documentary, Harry: The Lost Prince<\/em> \u2013 but she\u2019s brushing off the noise and eyeing up a possible move to Los Angeles in 2025 to find a better fit socially, a source exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Meghan, 43, and her red-headed husband, 40, moved into their opulent nine-bedroom abode on the Pacific coast in 2020, just after they ditched the U.K. and their royal roles. But their fellow well-to-do neighbors claimed the former Firm family are barely members of the community and don\u2019t ever really put themselves out there.<\/span><\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex was singled out as particularly un-neighborly, with Richard Mineards<\/strong> telling the documentarians, \u201cI personally don\u2019t think that Meghan is an asset to our community \u2026 She doesn\u2019t really go out or get involved with the community.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Though the insider insists it\u2019s all nonsense, with Meghan \u201csaying these accusations are absurd,\u201d and that she\u2019s plenty social, with \u201cfriends at the Polo Club and a very exclusive group of other celebs and Hollywood types that they hang around.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOf course,\u201d the source continues, \u201cthat doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s not uncomfortable to get bashed by these busybodies. Meghan still loves Montecito, she always says how gorgeous it is, but the neighborhood vibe isn\u2019t totally her speed.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As Life & Style<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, the Sussexes have been on a hunt for a more A-list social circle. A second source said that Meghan in particular was thrilled with her husband\u2019s recent bromance with Jelly Roll<\/strong>, which \u201cis the perfect way to get her foot in the door\u201d of a country-star group of friends.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s now had her eyes opened<\/a> to what they could be missing out on. She\u2019s not going to hitch her wagon to just anyone, she\u2019s going to be choosy, but the fact is the country music world has changed a lot.
