And it seems like Peacock wants in on the action with a feature-length reboot of the long-dead <em>Grimm <\/em>series.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/film\/news\/grimm-movie-peacock-1236267384\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a> reports that Peacock is moving forward with a new film based on <em>Grimm,<\/em> Stephen Carpenter, Jim Kouf, and David Greenwalt\u2019s 2011 series about a Portland cop who discovers that he\u2019s one of the chosen few meant to defend humanity from monsters. Josh Berman (<em>Drop Dead Diva<\/em>) is attached to write the movie as well as co-executive produce with Kouf and Greenwalt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">In its original run, <em>Grimm <\/em>ran for six seasons that saw Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) become a formidable Grimm (the show\u2019s lingo for monster hunters) alongside his human partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) and werewolf ally Munroe (Silas Weir Mitchell). Peacock has yet to announce details about the movie\u2019s plot or whether any members of <em>Grimm<\/em>\u2019s original cast members might return.
