While Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s sons have accompanied their mom to awards ceremonies and premieres, her daughter, Zahara Jolie<\/strong><\/a>, joined the actress as her date to the 2025 Golden Globes<\/a> on Sunday, January 5.<\/p>\n Angelina, 49, arrived on the red carpet with Zahara, 19, as the two ladies looked glamorous in their gowns. The Oscar winner donned a beaded Alexander McQueen gown with black and silver streaks over a sheer panel.<\/p>\n Zahara chose a white sleeveless dress with a black tree-like pattern. The elegant pair posed for photos on the red carpet while holding hands and smiling at each other before heading in to the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n Angelina discussed how much her life had changed since she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in 2000 for her performance in Girl, Interrupted<\/em>, telling E!<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Zuri Hall <\/strong>she\u2019s had \u201ca lifetime of difference,\u201d in the past 25 years. \u201cSo, [I\u2019m] just happy to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNow I\u2019m here with my daughter, so I\u2019m here as a mom,\u201d Angie said of bringing Zahara as her date. \u201cThat\u2019s different.\u201d<\/p>\n It was the twosome\u2019s second big outing in two days, as on January 3, the Spelman College student attended the Palm Springs Film Festival with her mom. Angelina wore a black satin halter gown while Zahara chose a flowing white dress.<\/p>\n Angelina took home the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her role as opera singer Maria Callas in Netflix\u2019s Maria<\/em>. At the Golden Globes, she lost out Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture \u2014 Drama for her role in the film to I\u2019m Still Here<\/em> star Fernanda Torres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The weekend of red carpet appearances seemed to hint that Zahara or one of Angelina\u2019s other five children she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt<\/strong> could be her dates to upcoming awards shows.<\/p>\n Angie\u2019s youngest son, Knox, made a rare appearance as his mom\u2019s date<\/a> to the 2024 Oscars Governors Awards on November 17, 2024. It marked his first major outing in a tuxedo to a glam event.<\/p>\n The Wanted star\u2019s two oldest sons, Maddox<\/strong> and Pax<\/strong>, joined Zahara to support their mom<\/a> at Maria<\/em>\u2018s screening during the 62nd New York Film Festival in September 2024.<\/p>\n Maddox, 23, and Pax, 21, worked on the film with their mom in the assistant director\u2019s department.<\/p>\n \u201cIt really meant a lot that my boys were with me on Maria,\u201d Angelina told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> in August 2024. \u201cWhen I would have really heavy times, they would come over and just give me a hug or a cup of tea. That was probably one of the more intense things was that \u2014 usually when I\u2019m expressing that much pain, it\u2019s not in front of my children.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou really try to hide from your children how much pain and sadness you carry.
