The actor, 41, appeared on Amelia Dimoldenberg\u2019s viral Chicken Shop Date interview series on Friday, October 18, during which he questioned the host whether she thinks she could actually find \u201cthe one\u201d for her on the show. \u201cYeah. \u201cIt\u2019s run by this Alexa kind of robot figure [named Lana], and she says like, \u2018You\u2019ve all been selected because you are terrified of intimacy and you are terrified of making true emotional connections. You will be here for a week, and if you do anything physically with each other that is not born out of a true emotional connection, you will be fined,\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Garfield explained, putting on his best robotic Lana voice. \u201cSuddenly, it\u2019s like all these really horny [and] maybe sex-addicted people are having to not do anything sexual<\/a> unless they are given permission by Alana.\u201d<\/p>\nAccording to Garfield, it becomes an \u201camazing thing\u201d when each couple begins to actually open up.<\/p>\n
