Grande, 31, and Erivo, 37, spoke about their friendship in an interview with The New York Times that was published on Wednesday, November 6. \u201cI feel really inspired by her fierce ability to be truthful and protect herself,\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
In September 2023, Grande revealed to Vogue<\/em> that she had botox and \u201ca ton\u201d of lip filler through the years, but had stopped using both in 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n\u201cBeing exposed to so many voices at a young age, and especially when people have things to say about your appearance at a young age, it\u2019s really hard to know what\u2019s worth hearing or not,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cWhen you\u2019re 17, you don\u2019t really know that yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say that comedy was her first love, even before she became a pop star.<\/p>\n\u201cBeing able to play Glinda the Good was not only the honor of my life but it felt like a homecoming,\u201d Grande continued. \u201cFor those of you who don\u2019t know, I started out in stand-up comedy. My first professional gig was in our living room in Boca Raton, Fla., [to entertain] my grandparents. I was 4 years old and my mom gave me $5.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cI learned early on that laughter was one of our greatest escapes and I remember the infectious impact that it had, not only on the people in my life, but how it fed me in return.
