Josh Hall<\/b><\/a> looked back on his 2024, and admitted that there were many challenging moments amid his divorce from his estranged wife, <\/span>Christina Haack<\/b><\/a> (formerly known as Christina Hall).<\/p>\n \u201c2024 was a tough year but it\u2019s taught me a lot. It helped me grow and be stronger than I\u2019ve ever been,\u201d Josh, 44, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, January 1, alongside a photo of himself lounging in a pool with his back to the camera. \u201cSometimes the tough situations can change you. You end up becoming a different person. A better version of yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n Josh went on to note that tough situations force you to \u201clearn things about yourself you didn\u2019t know before.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt has opened my eyes to many things. Even though it was tough, I know that it taught me many lessons and for that I\u2019m grateful,\u201d the TV personality continued. \u201cI always tell myself that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.\u201d<\/p>\n After reflecting on the difficult moments from 2024, Josh added that the year \u201cwasn\u2019t all bad.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIn these tough situations, I realized who is really there for you. These people become your pillars in life. They stand by you. They understand when you need space. They\u2019ve got you even if it at this moment in time, you don\u2019t have them,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI will forever be grateful for my community who continue to love me, support me and those special ones who came into my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Josh wrapped up the lengthy post by explaining he\u2019s hopeful for the changes that will come in the new year. \u201cHere\u2019s to 2025, a new year, a fresh start and a chance to write a new book with some new beginnings. This WILL be my best year yet \u2026\u201d he said.<\/p>\n After tying the knot in 2022, Josh filed for divorce<\/a> from Christina, 41, in July 2024. One day later, she followed suit by filing her own paperwork.<\/p>\n Fans will get a glimpse into the final months of their marriage<\/span><\/a> when HGTV\u2019s <\/span>The Flip Off <\/span><\/i>premieres on January 29. The show features the former couple going up against <\/span>Christina\u2019s ex-husband <\/span>Tarek El Moussa<\/b><\/a> and his current wife, <\/span>Heather Rae El Moussa<\/b>, as they compete in a house flipping competition. However, Josh was let go of the show after he and Christina filed for divorce.<\/p>\n
