The harrowing incident occurred on New Year’s Day 2023, when Renner was run over by his own Sno-Cat while attempting to assist with a stranded vehicle near his residence in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Released bodycam footage revealed the intense moments during Renner’s traumatic snowplow accident near his Lake Tahoe, California residence, where the 14,000-pound PistenBully Sno-Cat \u201ccompletely crushed\u201d him.<\/p>\n
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Department responded to the emergency call made by a neighbor just before 9 a.m. The incident unfolded as Renner was helping his nephew, Alex Fries, free a truck trapped in snow. After stepping out to check on his nephew, Renner noticed the snowplow continuing to move. In an attempt to regain control, he jumped back onto the machine but tragically became entangled in the treads.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey give you medications so you don’t go to the bathroom, so you get constipated. And you pee in a jar. It was awful. That’s when you know things aren’t going great \u2014 you’re peeing in a plastic jug. It took me 17 minutes to get out of bed.\u201d<\/p>\n
