John Stamos<\/strong><\/a> is reflecting on the people who mean the most to him as one year wraps up and another begins.<\/p>\n

The Full House<\/em> star, 61, shared an emotional post via his Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, January 1 as he contemplated \u201clove, loss, and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy New Year!\u201d he began in the post\u2019s lengthy caption. \u201cAs the calendar turns, I find myself reflecting on a year filled with love, loss, and growth. This past year has been one of the most transformative in my life. I\u2019ve experienced moments of immense gratitude, profound sadness, and the kind of clarity that only comes when you truly let life happen as it\u2019s meant to.\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption was accompanied by a photo of Stamos with his wife Caitlin McHugh<\/strong>, 38, who he married in 2018<\/a>, and their son, Billy, 6.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJohn Stamos is showing \u201csolidarity\u201d amid Full House costar Dave Coulier\u2019s cancer battle. Stamos, 61, took to social media on Monday, November 18, to share photos in which the actors smiled together, both revealing their bald heads. Stamos\u2019 head, however, was a product of prosthetics \u2014 and some skilled editing.\u00a0 \u201cNothing like throwing on a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Both Caitlin<\/a> and Billy were the first to be name-checked in the reflective Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo Caitlin and Billy\u2014you are my heart. Every morning we\u2019ve spent cuddling and laughing together is a memory I\u2019ll hold close forever,\u201d Stamos wrote.\u00a0 \u201cYou remind me daily that the simplest moments are often the most meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stamos also referenced his Full House<\/em> costar, Dave Coulier,<\/strong> and his ongoing cancer battle<\/a>, tagging him in the caption and in the photo itself.<\/p>\n

\u201c@dcoulier you got this!\u201d Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse alongside Coulier\u2019s Uncle Joey in the popular 90s sitcom, wrote.<\/p>\n

Coulier, 65, was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a form of cancer that fights the body\u2019s lymphatic system and affects \u201cwhite blood cells called lymphocytes [that] grow abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body,\u201d according to the Mayo Clinic.<\/p>\n

The actor also touched on the loss of childhood friend Mike Owen<\/strong>, who had been best friends with Stamos since they were 11. Owen died in November from a heart attack.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo Mike, my oldest and dearest friend, who we lost this year\u2014you\u2019ll forever be my silent Obi-Wan, guiding me with your quiet strength. Losing you has left a hole in my life, but I carry your light forward in everything I do,\u201d Stamos wrote.<\/p>\n
