Viewers who tuned in to watch\u00a0Love Is Blind<\/em>\u00a0season 4\u2019s<\/a> hotly-anticipated \u201clive\u201d reunion began to feel a little like the show\u2019s\u00a0sleepy suitor\u00a0Tiffany<\/strong><\/a> Sunday night. Netflix users were left in limbo for more than an hour, endlessly refreshing their screens as the streamer\u2019s live event failed to play.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hosted by\u00a0Vanessa<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Nick Lachey<\/strong>, Netflix\u2019s second-ever live offering\u2014following\u00a0Chris Rock<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0comedy special<\/a>\u00a0last month\u2014was meant to air live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on Sunday night. When users were met with error messages, Netflix\u00a0tweeted<\/a> that the show would start in 15 minutes. Seven minutes later, Netflix\u00a0ensured on Twitter<\/a>\u00a0that \u201c#LoveIsBlindLIVE will be worth the wait….\u201d But it would be more than an hour after the original start time that the reunion would actually air\u2014and viewers who didn\u2019t stick around, perhaps switching over to\u00a0HBO\u2019s\u00a0Succession<\/em><\/a>, didn\u2019t get to see it at all.\u00a0<\/p>\n During the multitude of delays, Vanessa Lachey went live on her Instagram to appease anxious viewers. \u201cThis is\u00a0so<\/em>\u00a02023. I can\u2019t show the season 4 cast, but Nick and I and the audience is all here. We are sitting here. Apparently y\u2019all, everybody broke the internet to see this reunion!\u201d she joked.\u00a0<\/p>\n The technical difficulties that prevented us from seeing newly-married contestants\u00a0Bliss<\/strong> and\u00a0Zach<\/strong>,\u00a0Tiffany<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Brett<\/strong>,\u00a0and Chelsea<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Kwame<\/strong>, as well as the brutally broken-up\u00a0Paul<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Micah<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0bonded politicians, media figures, and companies alike. Hulu, Bravo, and even Blockbuster poked fun at the snafu on Twitter, as did\u00a0Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/strong>\u00a0and MSNBC\u2019s\u00a0Chris Hayes<\/strong>, who wrote, \u201cWould love to read the oral history of this evening inside Netflix.\u201d<\/p>\n
