Comedian Nikki Glaser<\/strong><\/a> pushed back her plastic surgery<\/a> plans to host the annual Golden Globes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, for January 2025, I was going to possibly have, like, a brow lift or some kind of really invasive surgery that I\u2019ve been, you know, looking into getting,\u201d Glaser, 40, said during the Sunday, December 29, broadcast of CBS Mornings<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n

Before the Golden Globes are held during the first weekend in January, Glaser was contacted about emceeing the ceremony.<\/p>\n

She recalled, \u201c[Members of my team were] like, \u2018So, this operation<\/a>, is there any way you could push it \u2019til maybe the second week of January?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Glaser, a stand-up comic and TV host, said yes to the offer and put her surgery dreams on the back burner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna nail it,\u201d Glaser said on Sunday about tackling hosting duties for the Globes. \u201cMaybe I won\u2019t nail it in some people\u2019s eyes, but I will have nailed it in my eyes because I have set up a system leading up to it that I couldn\u2019t possibly work harder on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

There will be a lot of eyes on Glaser running the show, which she hopes gets in her head.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thrive on anxiety,\u201d she stressed. \u201cI like feeling like, \u2018Oh, what\u2019s gonna happen?\u2019 I like that feeling. I kill it when I\u2019m anxious.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Glaser is known for her appearances at roasts \u2014 she recently participated in Tom Brady<\/strong>\u2019s eponymous version<\/a> for Netflix \u2014 she doesn\u2019t want to be mean at the awards show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my new challenge is, I wanna be known for being a nice celebrity,\u201d Glaser explained. \u201cI just wanna be someone that people go, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s really great to work with. She was really nice to us,\u2019 and not in an inauthentic way. \u2026 I wanna spread honesty.\u201d<\/p>\n
