Me,\u201d she captioned a selfie via her Instagram Story, where she showed off her dramatic cut.<\/p>\n Simpson, who normally sports longer locks, explained more about her salon experience in a transformation video<\/a> on social media posted on December 28.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you to @riri_roya for always indulging my ever changing hair whims\u2026 \ud83d\ude4c\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c,\u201d she wrote in the caption, tagging her stylist.<\/p>\n Simpson explained her choice to get such a big change during the holiday season, adding that she didn\u2019t walk into the salon intending to make such a big statement.<\/p>\n \u201cI went to @riri_roya on Christmas Eve\u2026 just for a blowout, and came out with shorter, darker hair,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Simpson also asked her fans for their thoughts on her varying looks. \u201cWhat do you think?\u201d she asked in the caption. \u201cDarker or lighter?
