During the Sunday, December 29, Buffalo Bills game, quarterback Josh Allen<\/strong> <\/a>reached an impressive career milestone.<\/p>\n

Allen, 28, scored a rushing touchdown during the first half of the team\u2019s Sunday game against the New York Jets. It is the athlete\u2019s 65th career touchdown, which ties the Bills franchise record. Thurman Thomas<\/strong> is the only other Bills player who has hit the same milestone.<\/p>\n

After Allen carried the ball into the end zone, devoted Bills fans started a raucous \u201cMVP\u201d chant<\/a>, per social media footage<\/a>. Others watching on TV noticed a subtle tribute to Allen\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, actress Hailee Steinfeld<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJosh Allen is one of the frontrunners for NFL MVP this season, and he credited his new fiance\u00e9, Hailee Steinfeld, with helping him get there. \u201cShe\u2019s been a huge part,\u201d the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, told The Associated Press on Wednesday, December 18. \u201cThe morale, the support. When I get home, she\u2019s my biggest fan, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another added, \u201cI like that little nod to Hailee Steinfeld after a Josh Allen TD.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the broadcast, an orchestral snippet of one of Steinfeld\u2019s songs was briefly heard before the ad break.<\/p>\n

Allen has been dating Steinfeld, 28, since 2023. He proposed last month<\/a> during the Bills\u2019 bye week.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,\u201d Allen told the Hawkeye <\/i>alum in the December 6 edition<\/a> of her \u201cBeau Society\u201d newsletter. \u201cIt was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen popped the question at sunset while standing underneath a rose-covered archway overlooking a body of water.<\/p>\n
