The sequel was originally supposed to open on October 2, 2026, but will now shift a year and open on October 1, 2027, in Imax.<\/p>\n<p>That left an opening for Alejandro G. I\u00f1\u00e1rritu and\u00a0Tom Cruise\u2018s upcoming film to hit theaters in 2026. The film, which still lacks a title, will open in Imax on Oct. 2 in the date \u201cThe Batman 2\u201d vacated.<\/p>\n<p>Warner Bros. made some additional tweaks to its upcoming release slate :<br \/>Bong Joon Ho\u2019s \u201cMickey 17\u201d which stars Robert Pattinson will open on March 7, 2025, while <br \/>\u201cSinners,\u201d which re-teams Coogler with Michael B.
