Lindsay Lohan<\/a> felt \u201cscared\u201d at the thought of meeting her now-husband\u2019s family.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Lindsay Lohan was nervous about meeting her husband’s parents<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old star can currently be seen in new Christmas movie \u2018Our Little Secret\u2019 and she related to her character Avery\u2019s nerves at meeting her boyfriend\u2019s parents because of her own apprehension ahead of spending time with Bader Shammas \u2013 with whom she has 18-month-old son Luai \u2013 and his relatives for the first time.<\/p>\n
But fortunately, they all got on well and Lindsay feels very \u201cclose\u201d to her in-laws.<\/p>\n
She told Britain\u2019s HELLO! magazine: \u201cIt\u2019s always a potentially tricky situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember being super-nervous when I met my husband\u2019s family for the first time.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHis mum is so great and she has all these gorgeous sisters, so it was a lot.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was scared at first, but his whole family made me feel so welcome.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey\u2019re so sweet and we\u2019re really close now.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe\u2019re one big family, which is so nice, especially at Christmas \u2013 but they\u2019re always there if I need someone to turn to.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe \u2018Mean Girls\u2019 star adores motherhood.<\/p>\n
\nShe gushed: \u201cIt\u2019s everything I hoped it would be and more. My little boy is such a blessing.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI am so grateful every day.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBeing with him is like falling in love all over again, every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Lindsay thinks the Christmas period is even more special now she has her son.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cGetting to share Christmas with my son makes it special, for sure, but this has always been a special time for me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m pretty sentimental when it comes to this time of year \u2013 even more so now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Parent Trap’ actress recently noted that she is just thrilled to be able to “see life” through the eyes of her son every day and described him as a “bundle of joy”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Just to see \u2014 because he is, so pure and just so happy, just to see life through his eyes, every day. He\u2019s just this beautiful bundle of joy. I can\u2019t think of anything else!”<\/p>\n
