BOGA: Wellness with BOA<\/a>, where she discusses the importance of prioritizing mental health and wellness.<\/p>\nWe had a few moments to chat with these queens of the North about their experience on the show in our exclusive interview.<\/p>\nPhoto courtesy of World of Wonder <\/figcaption><\/figure>\nWhat was your Slaycation experience like?<\/strong><\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> Just getting on the show, I was already excited because, you know, we have had so many seasons and episodes of Drag Race<\/em>, all these different franchises and now there’s something new for the fans and for the viewers, you know? This has never been done before, so I was so excited that I get to be a part of it, and especially the first season.<\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> When I saw that it was announced, I said, oh my god, I would love to be a part of that. And then when I got asked to be a part of it, I was like, bitch, I manifested it. I’m magical. I was so happy. I was so gagged. I was so excited. And I was like, I deserve this. I deserve a break.<\/p>\nWhat was the experience like just to be in a house with all these big personalities?<\/strong><\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> Overstimulating.\u00a0<\/p>\nJada: Well, I love the girls I have met in person and hung out with, you know, me, Kandy, Luxx, Kerri, we all hung out and partied together for DragCon and stuff like that. I already knew that like those girls would have been my kind of good time. So, when I heard that they’re on the show, I was just like, oh my god, this is gonna be so good. Lawrence Chaney\u2026I was like, oh, I don’t know\u2026but Lawrence turned out to be really fun too. She is funny, she\u2019s the Lawrence that we see on TV, the funny, cheeky, Scottish Lawrence.<\/p>\nPhoto courtesy of World of Wonder <\/figcaption><\/figure>\nBOA:<\/strong> She’s like, literally, what you see is what you get.<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> She’s a big sweetheart.<\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> She’s a little shady too. I know because I\u2019m a little shady too.<\/p>\nWho was the shadiest person in the house?<\/strong><\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> I don’t know. We have to see the confessionals first.<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> Everyone did confessionals but we have no idea what everyone said. So, I can say, okay, maybe I was the shadiest, or Kandy\u2026but then you get the confessionals and the sweet innocent, loveable, fun girl Lawrence Chaney might be in the confessionals just ripping us to shreds. You never know.\u00a0<\/p>\nYou all took part in some really fun activities on the show. Do you have a favorite experience?<\/strong><\/p>\nBOA: <\/strong>The food was so good! The food was amazing.<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> I mean, having chefs come and cater to you and all that stuff was amazing.<\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> I thought skating was really fun. I really had a fun time skating.\u00a0 {To Jada] You hated skating.\u00a0<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> I hated it. but, just thinking about it now, BOA is Canadian, she was born here. I was born in Barbados, so I still have that Caribbean\u2026you know, take me swimming on an island, not push me down a mountain of snow.\u00a0<\/p>\nPhoto courtesy of World of Wonder <\/figcaption><\/figure>\nSo, if there was a season two, would you want to participate and where would you want to go?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> Somewhere warm. Like, it doesn’t have to be a Caribbean island. You know, we’re not telling you to fly us out to the Bahamas or Barbados but if you can, you can do that\u2026but just somewhere nice and warm because we already have the winter.<\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> Let’s go to Mexico and get BBLs!<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> Oh my God. Give me veneers!\u00a0<\/p>\nWhat was your best takeaway from this whole experience?<\/strong><\/p>\nBOA:<\/strong> The friends we made along the way.<\/p>\nJada:<\/strong> Yay.\u00a0 I like that.
