\t\t<\/p>\n DC Studios<\/strong><\/a> is working on a new Lanterns<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>television series!<\/p>\n Based on the DC Comics, the upcoming new show will be a part of the interconnected DCU and some of the show\u2019s cast has already been revealed. <\/p>\n According to the initial announcement<\/a> by James Gunn<\/strong><\/a> nearly two years ago, Lanterns will be a \u201cbig premiere HBO television series\u201d which will tell the \u201cstory of a couple of Green Lanterns, Jon Stewart and Hal Jordan, and we have a few other lanterns peppered in there, but this is really a terrestrial based TV show.\u201d<\/p>\n It will be \u201calmost like True Detective<\/em>, with a couple of Green Lanterns who are space cops watching over Precinct Earth.
