Despite being one of the biggest stars in the world, the ultra-private actor has managed to maintain an air of mystery. He prefers the relative anonymity he\u2019s afforded in NYC, where he takes the subway (just like us!) and lives with his 7-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine (mom is Cooper\u2019s ex, model Irina Shayk<\/strong>). In interviews, he\u2019d much rather talk passionately about whatever project he\u2019s promoting than his personal life.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s set to direct his third feature film, Is This Thing On?<\/em> (his previous two \u2014 2018\u2019s A Star Is Born<\/em> and 2023\u2019s Maestro<\/em> \u2014 garnered critical acclaim for the 12-time Academy Award nominee) and is peacefully coparenting Lea with Shayk. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t think too much about turning 50 other than how proud he is of his career trajectory and his most important job as a dad,\u201d says a source in the latest Us Weekly<\/em> cover story, noting Cooper will likely celebrate his big day in NYC. \u201cIt won\u2019t be a Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong>\u2013style party, as that\u2019s not Bradley\u2019s [vibe],\u201d adds the source, \u201cbut there is a celebration in the works.\u201d<\/p>\n

He\u2019s found love with his girlfriend of one year<\/a>, model Gigi Hadid<\/strong>. On December 9, the pair were spotted getting dinner at Giorgio Baldi in L.A. with Hadid\u2019s father and his girlfriend. The source says the couple \u201care the real deal,\u201d adding that their relationship \u201chas become very serious over the last year.\u201d As for next steps, the source says Cooper and Hadid \u2014 who shares 4-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik<\/strong> \u2014 can see the possibility of an engagement in the future, but there\u2019s nothing planned right now.<\/p>\n

Both sources say Hadid, 29, and Cooper have similar low-key personalities, which is one reason they make such a good match. \u201cBradley and Gigi have very calm temperaments and are very understanding; it\u2019s why they mesh so well,\u201d says the second source, noting they spend a lot of time in Pennsylvania, where they both own farmhouses.
