Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> is giving Us<\/em> an inside look behind the scenes of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so many good memories,\u201d Brown, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in December. \u201cWhen I sled down the hill and landed on the other side of the snow berm. I don\u2019t even know what you call it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meri has starred on the TLC series since its 2010 premiere alongside ex-husband Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>. While Meri has become a pro in front of the camera for the past 19 seasons, she confessed that the first day of filming took her by surprise.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust thinking of that very first scene when I was introduced, I didn\u2019t expect the cameras to be there,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI didn\u2019t know they were there. I would\u2019ve been a little bit more prepped.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAfter more than 30 years of marriage, Kody and Meri Brown worked their way out of more than one major rough patch before confirming their split in 2023. The couple tied the knot in April 1990 before Kody introduced three more wives, Janelle, Christine and Robyn Brown, into their family. Their unique home life drew [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When the show began, Meri, Janelle, 55, Christine, 52, were all married to Kody<\/a>, 55, and he was in the process of courting Robyn, whom he wed in 2014. However, their relationship dynamics<\/a> have shifted a lot since then. Christine and Kody split in 2021 while Janelle and Kody called it quits the following year. While Meri prefers to be prepared for the camera, she teased that Kody is the one who would most likely be the \u201cstar of the blooper reel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust because of all the things that actually come out his mouth should be blooper,\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n

While the Brown family have been open about their lives on screen, there are some topics Meri doesn\u2019t like to broach on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like talking about or hearing other people talking about intimacy, PDA and finances,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cI think finances is not a necessary conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for who takes the longest to get ready, Meri admitted it\u2019s a toss up between her or Robyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always take an hour and a half to get ready,\u201d she confessed \u201cSometimes I\u2019ve done it in 45, but that\u2019s only when I\u2019m staying at home.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kody remains married to Robyn to this day, Janelle, Christine and Meri, (aka., the ex-wives club), have remained close as they continue to navigate life as a family. Meri shared that over the years her favorite family gatherings had to be Thanksgiving where all their children<\/a> were in attendance. Meri and Kody share a son, Leon, 29. Kody is also the father of six kids: Logan, 30, Maddie, 29, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 23, and Savannah, 20 whom he shares with Janelle<\/a>. Kody and Christine also have six children together: Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, 28, Paedon, 26, Gwendlyn, 23, Ysabel, 21, and Truely, 14. With fourth wife Robyn<\/a>, Kody shares son Solomon, 13 and daughter Ariella, 8. He also adopted Robyn\u2019s little ones from her previous marriage: David, 24, Aurora, 22, and Breanna, 20. (Kody and Janelle were also parents of son Garrison who died in March at age 25.)<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the kids got older, they would go off and do different things for different holidays,\u201d Meri said. \u201cBut on Thanksgiving almost everybody was always there.\u201d<\/p>\n
