Couples can\u2019t agree on everything. Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> revealed he finally watched girlfriend Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s favorite Christmas movie, Love Actually<\/em>, but had some serious critiques about the beloved holiday film.<\/p>\n During the Tuesday, December 24, episode of his \u201cNew Heights<\/a>\u201d podcast, Travis, 35, admitted he \u201cactually enjoyed\u201d the film but \u201cdidn\u2019t feel \u2018Christmas\u2019 at all during the movie.\u201d<\/p>\n Brother Jason Kelce<\/strong> felt the same way, responding, \u201cI enjoyed the movie. It was OK,\u201d adding, \u201cthere was zero Christmas spirit or anything resembling that.\u201d<\/p>\n The retired Philadelphia Eagles star, 37, went a step further, claiming, \u201cLove Actually<\/em> might be the worst Christmas movie I\u2019ve ever seen, I don\u2019t even know that it\u2019s up for debate.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis went on to describe what he enjoyed and what he didn\u2019t like about the 2003 film.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s crazy is that all these, like you said, all these stories tie together in one community, and it\u2019s supposed to make it look like this is what happens in a community,\u201d he explained. \u201cLike, these are all the different love stories, this is what\u2019s going on around you.\u201d<\/p>\n The three-time Super Bowl champ said some of the plotlines seemed a \u201clittle far-fetched,\u201d but that the overall story had \u201cgood values.\u201d Travis said he \u201ccouldn\u2019t relate to anybody on screen\u201d and didn\u2019t think Love Actually<\/em> should be considered a Christmas film.<\/p>\n However, there was one scene that particularly moved Travis, which was when Andrew Lincoln<\/strong>\u2018s Mark used a series of cue cards to tell his married pal\u2019s wife Juliet, played by Keira Knightley<\/strong>, that he was secretly in love with her.<\/p>\n \u201cThe cards? Yeah. That was like that\u2019s like the iconic way to do that\u2019s like the most romantic way to tell someone you\u2019re in love with them,\u201d the NFL legend explained.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a fun one to watch,\u201d Travis ultimately admitted about the movie. \u201cI was enjoying following along to all the stories.\u201d<\/p>\n In the end, Trav rated the movie a three out of 10, although he said the acting deserved a \u201csolid nine.\u201d Jason was a little kinder, giving the film a four out of 10.<\/p>\n In a May 2014 interview with Teen Vogue<\/em><\/a>, Taylor, 35, revealed how the film gave her a motto to live by.<\/p>\n \u201cDid you ever watch the movie Love Actually where Hugh Grant<\/strong>\u2018s voiceover says, \u2018If you look around, love actually is all around?\u2019 That\u2019s my favorite motto,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n Travis previously revealed that his favorite holiday movie was the 1983 classic A Christmas Story<\/em>, especially since it was partially filmed in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cA Christmas Story<\/em> hits home. That\u2019s the one that gives me the feels. That\u2019s the one that gives me the feels because it\u2019s filmed in Cleveland,\u201d Travis said during a December 2023 episode of \u201cNew Heights.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTower City as a kid, I remember going down that slide. I remember just like going into the mall area. On top of that, just the scene of the outside reminds me of a Cleveland Christmassy, snowy Christmas. I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s just I get the feels from that one,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n
