\t\t<\/p>\n Max George<\/strong><\/a> provided an update on his health after spending some time in the hospital. <\/p>\n The 36-year-old musician, who is a member of the band The Wanted<\/strong><\/a>, revealed that he had been hospitalized earlier this month<\/a> to address some \u201cissues\u201d with his heart. <\/p>\n On Saturday (December 21), he told fans that he underwent a surgical procedure and let them know how he was doing. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Taking to Instagram, Max<\/strong> said that he had a pacemaker installed. He even shared a photo of his chest where it was inserted. <\/p>\n \u201cSay hello to my little friend,\u201d he wrote, adding, \u201cGiven the last 10 days, this is the best Christmas present I could have ever wished for.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, writing, \u201cPacemaker is in. Operation took around 2 and half hours. The main issue being some of my veins had collapsed where the wires were meant to go\u2026 But the hospital surgeons, doctors and nurses at the NHS have been incredible. I owe everything to them.\u201d<\/p>\n Max<\/strong> said that the incision for the surgery was located underneath \u201ca very special tattoo,\u201d which reads \u201c04.08.1988.\u201d This appears to be a tribute to his late bandmate Tom Parker<\/strong><\/a>, who was born on August 4, 1988. <\/p>\n Tom<\/strong> tragically passed away<\/a> at the age of 33 in March 2022.<\/p>\n Seemingly referencing Tom<\/strong>, Max<\/strong> wrote that he was \u201csure [the pacemaker] is being looked after.\u201d <\/p>\n The musician noted that he still had to get some work done to address \u201cinflamed lymph nodes on my lungs.\u201d <\/p>\n However, he was in good spirits, writing, \u201cThat\u2019ll be easy work.\u201d <\/p>\n See what else Max<\/strong> had to say about his health<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
