More love to share!\u00a0Love Is Blind<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>season 4 highlighted six couples\u2019 journeys from the Netflix pods to the wedding aisle<\/a>, but there were actually two more pairs<\/a> who were keen to take the proposal plunge.<\/p>\n Jimmy Forde<\/strong> and Josh \u201cJP\u201d Schultz<\/strong> both found love during the Seattle-set iteration<\/a> of the pod experiment, which first dropped on Netflix last month. Jimmy, 29, found an instant spark with cast member Wendi Kong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the first things she said to me was that she packed half a suitcase coming here and it was so jarring and different than anything else I\u2019ve heard from any of the other women,\u201d the technical product manager told Netflix\u2019s Tudum<\/a> in an interview published on Friday, April 14. \u201cImmediately, I was like, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s who I need to be with.\u201d<\/p>\n After hours and hours of deep conversation, Jimmy opted to propose sight unseen<\/a>. \u201cIt gave me a chance to really be real and verbalize to somebody what I\u2019ve always been looking for and tell them, \u2018You\u2019re the person that fits this mold for me,\u2019\u201d he told the outlet. \u201c[Meeting her in person was] probably one of the happiest moments in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Wendi, 28, was equally excited to meet her beau in real life<\/a>, however, their journey was not selected to continue on the reality TV show. The newly engaged couple left the pods to privately settle into their new blended life.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s where it started going back down to earth and everything started to unravel<\/a> a bit,\u201d Jimmy claimed to Tudum, noting they split three months later. \u201c[We had different visions of] how we view relationships in general.\u201d<\/p>\n Neither Jimmy nor the engineer regret their brief romance<\/a>, and they have remained on amicable terms.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was definitely recalibrating for me. [The show] pushed me and stretched me in ways that I wouldn\u2019t have normally been stretched,\u201d Wendi told Tudum earlier this month.<\/p>\n Jimmy has even poked fun at his lack of screen time by adding \u201cForgotten cast of S4 @loveisblindnetflix\u201d to his Instagram<\/a> bio. After a follower asked why he was excluded from filming, he replied: \u201cNot a question for me \u2026 I was myself, did my best and had fun with it\u00a0\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n JP, 30, also was certain that he found The One in Ava Jenson<\/strong> during\u00a0Love Is Blind\u00a0<\/i>season 4. The plant operations director and the communications specialist, 32, naturally gravitated toward each other in the pods before getting engaged.<\/p>\n \u201cEverything I felt in [the pods] felt real. I was so excited when she said yes,\u201d JP told Tudum, noting their in-person reveal felt \u201cemotional and heavy.\u201d<\/p>\n Ava, for her part, noticed a shift in her fianc\u00e9 after they left the experiment. \u201cI saw him at the airport, and he was a completely different person,\u201d she alleged on Friday. \u201cAs we were boarding the plane, I felt my phone vibrate and it pinged a bit and I looked down and he sent me a text basically ending the engagement<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n JP, however, asserts that he merely hoped to reset their expectations because he did not want to get married on the accelerated timeline that is the premise of\u00a0Love Is Blind<\/i>. Ava was ultimately \u201cshocked and humiliated,\u201d and their pod bond never recovered.<\/p>\n JP did make close friendships with several of the other\u00a0Love Is Blind\u00a0<\/i>men, even briefly chatting with them at the cast\u2019s on-camera birthday party for Chelsea Griffin<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Neither of the two failed engagements were followed on the show and producers\u00a0have not revealed why neither JP and Ava nor Jimmy and Wendi were chosen for the next step<\/a>.<\/p>\n Love Is Blind\u00a0<\/i>season 4 instead covered<\/a> the love stories of Chelsea, 32, and Kwame Appiah<\/strong><\/a>, Tiffany Pennywell<\/strong> <\/a>and Brett Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Micah Lussier<\/strong> <\/a>and Paul Peden<\/strong><\/a> and Marshall Glaze<\/strong><\/a> and Jackelina \u201cJackie\u201d Bonds<\/strong><\/a>. Zack Goytowski<\/strong><\/a>, who was briefly engaged to Irina Solomonova<\/strong><\/a>, later rekindled his pod romance with Bliss Poureetezadi<\/strong><\/a>, which also received screentime. Only Chelsea and Kwame, Tiffany and Brett and Zack and Bliss ended up getting married in the season 4 finale<\/a>, which dropped on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n
