20px), 720px\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/cdn.thehollywoodgossip.com\/uploads\/2024\/12\/kelly-clarkson-seemingly-disses-ex-95648138.webp\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><figcaption><span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Kelly Clarkson\/YouTube)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For those in need of a refresher, Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before parting ways in 2020. <\/p>\n<p>When their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2022\/01\/kelly-clarkson-settles-with-brandon-blackstock-fine-he-gets-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">divorce was finalized in 2022<\/a>, the singer was granted primary custody of their two children.<\/p>\n<p>Things got pretty ugly at various points, though, because Blackstock also served as his then-wife\u2019s manager under his dad Narvel Blackstock\u2019s company, Starstruck Management Group.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the talk show host filed for divorce, Starstruck sued Clarkson for alleged unpaid commissions and an apparent breach of her agreement. <\/p>\n<p><strong>The singer countersued, eventually winning a $2.6 million legal ruling against her ex in 2023 after a California labor commissioner ruled that he had overstepped his managerial role when securing four of her business deals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In short, according to Clarkson, her former husband stole from her.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/08\/kelly-clarkson-divorce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clarkson filed a new case<\/a>\u2026 accusing Blackstock and his father\u2019s firm of violating state labor rules.
