There’s a new way to use your American Airlines AAdvantage<\/a> miles for a flight to Hawaii.<\/p>\n

As of this week, AAdvantage members can redeem miles for flights aboard Hawaiian Airlines planes between the U.S. mainland and Hawaii.<\/p>\n

Head over to American’s booking channels and you’ll see the changes right away.<\/p>\n

Upgrades clearing less? Airlines say more passengers are just paying for those first-class seats<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Consider, for instance, the longest domestic flight in the U.S. \u2014 Hawaiian’s nonstop from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) aboard a Hawaiian Airbus A330. In the case of this February itinerary, it’d go for 35,000 AAdvantage miles.<\/p>\n
