Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum James Kennedy<\/strong><\/a> is trying to get on the right path forward following his recent domestic violence arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cJames is trying to win everything back including [girlfriend] Ally<\/strong> [Lewber<\/strong>],\u201d a source exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cIf he doesn\u2019t stay sober, he knows he has a lot to lose.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the insider, Lewber, 28, is keeping her distance for now as Kennedy prioritizes his sobriety. The source adds that Kennedy is \u201cstaying sober and getting treatment. He\u2019s taking it [very] seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlly is staying away until he gets help and she is leaning on friends and family.\u201d the insider says. \u201cPeople are rallying around her. She has a lot of support.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJames Kennedy appears to be experiencing some distance from girlfriend Ally Lewber after his domestic violence arrest. Lewber\u2019s parents \u201chave come into town and they have gotten an Airbnb and have taken her there,\u201d a source close to the situation exclusively told Us Weekly, adding that the couple \u201care having some distance but it\u2019s not [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kennedy\u2019s reps did not respond to Us\u2019<\/em> request for comment.<\/p>\n

Kennedy, 32, was arrested<\/a> on Tuesday, December 10, after law enforcement received a call<\/a> \u201cregarding an argument between a man and a woman\u201d at Kennedy and Lewber\u2019s home. Police deemed it to be a \u201cdomestic incident\u201d and Kennedy was subsequently taken into custody.<\/p>\n

After news of his arrest broke, Kennedy\u2019s attorneys spoke out<\/a> in a statement to Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,\u201d the December 13 statement read. \u201cWe understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city\u2019s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kennedy and Lewber started dating<\/a> in January 2022. Three months before they met, Kennedy and his former Pump Rules<\/em> costar Rachel Leviss<\/strong> called off their engagement. In March 2022, the DJ and Lewber made their relationship Instagram official, showing off pics from the couple\u2019s vacation to Tulum, Mexico.<\/p>\n

Lewber, for her part, has remained out of the public eye since Kennedy\u2019s arrest made headlines, but she took to social media to let everyone know how she was faring<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,\u201d Lewber wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, December 14. \u201cI\u2019m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBravo followed up on claims that James Kennedy was violent with women one year before his domestic violence arrest, Us Weekly can confirm. \u201cThere was an investigation, but they found nothing,\u201d a source close to the situation told Us. \u201cIt was inconclusive, so nothing happened.\u201d On Wednesday, December 18, Page Six was first to report [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A second source previously told Us<\/em> that Lewber\u2019s parents came \u201cinto town\u201d and the group have been staying in \u201can Airbnb.\u201d<\/p>\n
