the scene in which Harry accused claimed he was \u201cscreamed\u201d at <\/a>by his brother during a family meeting.<\/p>\n\u201cIt was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father saying things that just simply weren\u2019t true, and my grandmother quietly sit there and sort of take it all in,\u201d Harry recalled in the doc.<\/p>\n
According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, those remarks really didn\u2019t sit well with William.<\/p>\nPrince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned to the US following the Queen\u2019s funeral. \u201cEven if William hasn\u2019t watched this docuseries, and it\u2019s my understanding that he hasn\u2019t, he will be very aware of the headlines,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be very aware of the damage inflicted on his reputation, and I think it also goes a long way in explaining why the brothers are not on talking terms.\u201d<\/p>\nWilliam and Harry in happier times. \u201cI think that tempers are flaring, tempers are high. There\u2019s a lot of tension, there\u2019s a lot of upset, there\u2019s a lot of anger and resentment, and any reconciliation is really quite far down the line,\u201d the royal expert added.<\/p>\n
Nicholl says that Harry might soon regret participating in the docuseries, as \u201cany chance of a reconciliation with his family [is] almost impossible, certainly at any point in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Elsewhere in Harry and Meghan news, Top Gear <\/em>host wrote a piece for The Sun<\/em> this week, in which he revealed that hates Meghan \u201con a cellular level.\u201d<\/p>\nMeghan tells her side of the story. Even the TV personality\u2019s daughter blasted him in a scathing Instagram post.<\/p>\nInsiders say Harry and Meghan felt snubbed after seeing King Charles\u2019 first official photo. \u201cI want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle, and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Twitter, Clarkson offered an apology that many found unconvincing.<\/p>\n\u201cOh dear. I\u2019ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people,\u201d Clarkson wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.\u201d<\/p>\n
His comments were obviously disgusting beyond belief, but it looks as though Clarkson will suffer no professional repercussions.<\/p>\n
And sadly, Meghan is used to this sort of treatment by now.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
