The cast would go on to shrink even further before the end.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Image Credit: TLC)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-isabel-roloff-spent-the-weekend-in-the-hospital\">Isabel Roloff spent the weekend in the hospital<\/h2>\n<p>Jacob Roloff\u2019s wife, Isabel went to urgent care and then into the operating room. <\/p>\n<p>She seems to be okay \u2014 and we know that because she herself shared the news with <em>LPBW <\/em>fans over her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/isabelsofiarock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a> Story on Sunday, December 15.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease please please send good thoughts my way,\u201d she asked fans while revealing that she was in the hospital \u2014 and was absolutely <em>devouring <\/em>ice chips.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DCDXKV6PU4a\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>\u201cGod said \u2018there will be pain and suffering but I will give you ice\u2019 or something along those lines,\u201d Isabel added, calling ice chips the \u201cbest things\u201d in the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, when a person is in tremendous pain, temperature extremes \u2014 like from ice or a heating pad \u2014 can provide temporary relief.<\/p>\n<p>It was only on Sunday evening when Izzy revealed to <em>LPBW <\/em>fans why she had been hospitalized. She confessed that she had felt \u201cvery scared\u201d earlier.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DDKmEoLS2Ca\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<h2>Isabel told \u2018LPBW\u2019 fans why she underwent emergency surgery<\/h2>\n<p>As it turned out, she had to get her gallbladder removed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe pain was unimaginable,\u201d Isabel Roloff described. \u201cI drove myself to urgent care this morning and they told me to go to the hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To think that she almost didn\u2019t go \u2014 fearing that she was being \u201cdramatic\u201d about the pain. Fortunately, she <em>did <\/em>travel to the emergency room. Isabel told fans about how she awoke and cried with relief. The agonizing pain was gone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still have some pain from the incisions but my gallbladder was so inflamed that it nearly burst!\u201d she revealed. \u201cAlso full of stones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pain itself was not new. For four years, she has been suffering from chronic gallbladder pain. That includes Jacob Roloff, her husband, Mateo Roloff, her son, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/04\/amy-roloff-gets-candid-where-do-things-stand-with-her-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amy Roloff<\/a>, her mother-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>Though <em>Little People, Big World<\/em> has been canceled after 25 seasons, fans can still keep up with and support the Roloff family.
