Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> performer Stephani Sosa<\/strong> opened up about her decision to get liposuction<\/a>, saying she \u201cneeded\u201d the fat removal procedure.<\/p>\n The So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/a> alum, 25, confessed in a Sunday, December 8, TikTok video<\/a> that she underwent Lipo 360 surgery and said she \u201cwas able to fully transform my body into what I have now.\u201d<\/p>\n Stephani shared a \u201cbefore\u201d photo in her underwear, along with another snapshot of what she currently looks like, wearing a black bra top and leggings while flaunting her ripped abs. She revealed she decided to undergo the surgery \u201cabout a year and a half ago\u201d in order to \u201cinvest in myself and my career.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI just wanted to shape my body, and I had a really hard time my whole life trying to get the body that I\u2019ve always wanted. I wanted to do it for me and my career. I was so fed up with the industry telling me how my body should look \u2026 I was just so over it and I needed to do it for me. So I did,\u201d the two-time national Latin ballroom champ explained.<\/p>\n Stephani said her recovery took \u201cabout six to eight weeks\u201d and that she got a \u201cvery very painful\u201d fat transfusion on top of it. She explained that doctors took out fat cells from \u201cunwanted areas\u201d and \u201cput it in the places where you want the fat. So, if I was to gain weight again, it would go in those specific areas.\u201d<\/p>\n Nowadays, Stephani says she works out with a personal trainer and eats \u201crelatively clean now, just to maintain my body.\u201d She called getting liposuction \u201cthe best decision I ever made, I feel like my life changed,\u201d adding that it boosted her \u201cconfidence\u201d and \u201chappiness.\u201d<\/p>\n The Orem, Utah, native joined DWTS<\/em> in September as a troupe member for season 33. She shared the thrilling news in a September 13 Instagram post in front of the show\u2019s logo, writing, \u201cBaby chica is screaming! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey!!\u201d Her brother, Ezra Sosa<\/strong>, competed as a pro alongside fake heiress Anna Delvey<\/strong> during the same season, although they were eliminated<\/a> during the second episode.<\/p>\n In addition to DWTS<\/em>, Stephani showcased her dancing skills in 17 episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/em> as a dancer and chorus performer between 2019 and 2021. She also appeared as a showgirl in Apple TV+\u2019s series Palm Royale<\/em>.<\/p>\n Both Stephani and Ezra, 24, competed on season 16 of Fox\u2019s So You Think You Can Dance.<\/em> She made it to the top 10, while her brother landed in the top 6 before getting eliminated.<\/p>\n The longtime hoofer shared how Disney week on DWTS<\/em> was the most meaningful for her in an October 24 Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cFor those of you that didn\u2019t know I\u2019ve been a Disney girl pretty much my whole professional dance career, from working almost everything and anything Disney related, so this week was EXTRA SPECIAL FOR ME,\u201d she gushed, next to a series of photos and videos from her routines that week.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
