Jonathan<\/strong> also spoke briefly about what type of boyfriend he is, touching on his relationship status and if he wants to have children in the future. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking to British Vogue<\/a>, Jonathan<\/strong> described his experience of coming to terms with his sexuality as \u201ca gradual realization.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI think other people understood my sexuality before I was even aware of it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The actor noted that he even dated a girl in his 20s.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s interesting with the binary,\u201d he said, \u201cwhere you\u2019re perceived to be either this or that. That\u2019s how I saw it at the time, but there are so many nuances to it. My experience of that relationship was not that I was in the shadows. She remains one of my best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n In his youth, he did bring up his sexuality during a sleepover with some friends. <\/p>\n \u201c\u2018Guys, guys, who else thinks they\u2019re gay? Do you? I do. I do,\u2019\u201d he recalled asking. \u201cIt was a conversation I really, really wanted to have, to see if everyone else was on the same page.\u201d <\/p>\n How did they respond? \u201cEveryone went quiet.\u201d <\/p>\n Jonathan<\/strong> said that he was also called out by a teacher, who said that he was \u201cso busy being a fairy\u201d that he couldn\u2019t understand his class work.<\/p>\n He opted out of talking about his current relationship status. However, he described himself as \u201ca confident hand-holder in relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n Another topic that he was willing to discuss was having children. <\/p>\n \u201cYes, it\u2019s such a privilege for a man,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cBut I can\u2019t bring children into my lifestyle now.\u201d <\/p>\n Explaining that he\u2019s too busy, Jonathan<\/strong> said, \u201cI want to make sure I\u2019m going to be present. I\u2019m reading books on adoption.
