Brianna \u201cChickenfry\u201d LaPaglia<\/strong><\/a> has been open about her relationship with ex Zach Bryan<\/strong><\/a>, and the podcast host has now admitted that she turned a blind eye to some of the country singer\u2019s red flags.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the red flags and, like, what people should look out for is like such an intense bond so quickly,\u201d Brianna, 25, said during an appearance on Alix Earle\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cHot Mess<\/a>\u201d podcast on Thursday, December 12. \u201cLike when you get into it you think it\u2019s cool and it\u2019s fun and you\u2019re like, \u2018This is my soulmate.\u2019 But if someone is telling you they\u2019re your f\u2013king soulmate on day two of hanging out, run for the f\u2013king hills.\u201d<\/p>\n The title of the episode was \u201cLeaving An Abusive Relationship ft. Brianna Chickenfry,\u201d and Brianna went into detail about her time with Zach, 28, including her feeling like she \u201cknew people weren\u2019t going to believe her\u201d claims.<\/p>\n \u201cI documented, for myself, videos to try to get myself to leave,\u201d the content creator explained. \u201cI have, like, a trail for probably the past, like, six months of just telling myself how I feel in this moment, what he did to me, like, \u2018This is why I need to leave.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Brianna added that it was \u201cso hard\u201d when she would \u201cwake up to an apology the next day.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cWhen you\u2019re in such a toxic abusive relationship<\/a>, you don\u2019t even understand what\u2019s going on. You don\u2019t even know who you are.\u201d<\/p>\n Brianna said that she documented her breakup on a daily basis to capture how she was feeling. After recently rewatching the videos, the internet personality recalled \u201cslowly realizing what kind of relationship [she] was in.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIn the beginning, he was so amazed by how strong a woman I was. I was so opinionated\u2014it was like his favorite thing about me. Like every room I walked into, I\u2019m the same person in every room,\u201d Brianna told Alix, 23. \u201cThen slowly it just started deteriorating. However, the former couple confirmed their split in October<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAddressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,\u201d Zach wrote via Instagram Stories on October 22. \u201cShe has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I\u2019ll always thank her. I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.
