Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> gave a shout-out to the \u201cguy on the Chiefs\u201d at her final Eras tour show<\/a>, even though Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t in attendance for the concert. The pop star made her famous \u201cKarma\u201d lyric change at the Sunday, December 8, show, despite usually reserving it for when Travis is in the crowd.<\/p>\n \u201cKarma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,\u201d Taylor, 34, sang<\/a> during the closing song, which is a change from the original lyric of, \u201cKarma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor, 34, first made the lyric change in November 2023 when Travis, 35, attended the Eras tour as her boyfriend for the first time. She has since sung it every time the NFL star has been in the audience at one of her shows, but rarely makes the change when Travis isn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n However, the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d songstress likely got word that Travis and the Chiefs added another win<\/a> to their r\u00e9sum\u00e9s while she was performing on Sunday night. The Chiefs brought their record to 12-1 with a 19-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. The win allowed the team to clinch the AFC West for the ninth year in a row.<\/p>\n Now that the Eras tour is over, Taylor is likely free to attend more of Travis\u2019 upcoming games. She\u2019s already made it to several Chiefs home games this season in between shows, most recently showing up at the post-Thanksgiving game on November 29. Her appearance came after she and Travis reportedly spent Thanksgiving<\/a> in Nashville with both of their families.<\/p>\n Taylor\u2019s final concert in Vancouver was an emotional night for the Grammy winner, her dancers, band and backup singers. She acknowledged the end of the tour by performing a gut-wrenching mash-up<\/a> of the songs \u201cLong Live,\u201d \u201cNew Year\u2019s Day,\u201d and \u201cThe Manuscript,\u201d finishing the acoustic section of the show by performing the lyrics, \u201cNow and then I reread the manuscript, but the story isn\u2019t mine anymore.\u201d She also changed a lyric in \u201cLong Live\u201d to say, \u201cIt was the end of an era, but the start of an age.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I\u2019ve done in my entire life,\u201d Taylor said at the beginning of the show. \u201cWe\u2019ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour. And tonight, we get to play one last show for you here tonight in beautiful Vancouver. We\u2019re gonna make it count.\u201d
Later, she added, \u201cThis tour has been the adventure of a lifetime. I speak on behalf of my band, my fellow performers who all left their families and have spent time away from everything that they know and love and have performed when they were sick.
