Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> had a few more tricks up her sleeve during the final performance of her Eras Tour<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The pop star, 34, took the stage at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8, which marked her last show of the tour. In a poignant moment, Swift performed a three-way mash-up for Sunday\u2019s surprise song, giving lucky fans a rendition of \u201cLove Live\u201d mixed with \u201cNew Year\u2019s Day\u201d and\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> bonus track, \u201cThe Manuscript.\u201d<\/p>\n

As one fan pointed out via X<\/a>, her final surprise song on the Eras Tour<\/em> was rather fitting: \u201cFirst surprise song: tim mcgraw, last surprise song: the manuscript, the first and last song of her discography.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift also paid homage to her long-running tour by changing the lyrics of \u201cLong Live\u201d from, \u201cIt was the end of a decade,\u201d to, \u201cIt was the end of an era \/ But the start of an age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift kicked off her most ambitious concert tour yet with back-to-back shows in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023. Her second night of performances gave fans one of the first [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Closing out the show, Swift thanked fans<\/a> for \u201cbeing a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date \u2014 my beloved\u00a0Eras Tour.<\/em>\u201d The pop star then segued into one last song, \u201cKarma,\u201d lifted from 2022\u2019s\u00a0Midnights<\/em>, and as she has done throughout the tour, gave a little shout-out to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce<\/strong>, by singing, \u201cKarma is the guy on the Chiefs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift kicked off the Eras Tour<\/em> in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, performing throughout the United States until August 2023. The singer then embarked on the international leg of the tour, making stops in South America, Asia, Australia and Europe from November 2023 to this August. In October, Swift returned to North America for a handful of final shows in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n

In total, Swift performed 149 sold-out concerts across five continents over the course of nearly two years, making the Eras Tour<\/em> the highest-grossing tour of all time.<\/p>\n

Swift previously opened up to TIME<\/em><\/a> in December 2023 about her mission to \u201csuperserve the fans\u201d with her biggest tour ever. (The three-and-a-half hour concert took attendees through her musical eras via a massive 45-song setlist which, after the April release of The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>, included hits from her latest album and a cameo from her NFL star boyfriend<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had to work really hard to get the tickets,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cI wanted to play a show that was longer than they ever thought it would be because that makes me feel good leaving the stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift gushed that the Eras Tour<\/em> made her \u201cthe most fulfilled I\u2019ve ever felt\u201d in my life.<\/p>\n

Since launching her record-breaking tour in March 2023, Swift has used the penultimate section of her show to perform songs across her entire discography that aren\u2019t included in the concert\u2019s expansive setlist. On occasion, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI know I\u2019m going on that stage whether I\u2019m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable or stressed,\u201d she added. \u201cThat\u2019s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I\u2019m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June, Swift confirmed that the tour would come to an end<\/a> in December, calling the venture \u201cthe most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
