Love Is Blind<\/span><\/i><\/a> star <\/span>Leo Braudy<\/b> clarified who paid the bills when he and ex <\/span>Brittany Wisniewski<\/b> took their trip to Miami after leaving the pods.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s kind of underwhelming \u2014 but I\u2019ll say this about Miami because I\u2019ve seen a lot of people saying, \u2018Britney just wanted a free trip\u2019 \u2026 \u2018Oh, Leo has money. She just wanted a free trip to Miami.\u2019 I\u2019ve seen that in the comments,\u201d Leo, 31, said while appearing at Page Six<\/span><\/i>\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea\u201d<\/span><\/a> live show in New York City on Monday, December 2. \u201cIf that\u2019s what she wanted, she didn\u2019t get it.\u201d<\/p>\n During their time on season 7 of the Netflix show, Leo made several comments about his wealthy lifestyle<\/a>. Meanwhile, Brittany, 33, often explained that she had been treated to a lavish lifestyle funded by the men she dated.<\/p>\n Leo insisted that they \u201cboth really wanted to go to Miami together\u201d after getting engaged, and he said that they \u201csplit\u201d the cost of many things \u201cfairly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe stayed in a hotel, we hung on the beach all day and then we just realized that there\u2019s a huge difference between getting engaged on the show and getting married,\u201d he recalled of the trip, which took place after they weren\u2019t invited to continue filming the show with the rest of the stars in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.<\/p>\n During their trip, Leo said that they had \u201ca lot of long conversations about\u201d their relationship and \u201crealized that we were better as friends.\u201d He added that they are \u201csuper good friends\u201d and \u201ctalk all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n Brittany also shared her side of the split while speaking to People<\/em><\/a> in October. \u201cAlthough we had an amazing time, we just decided that we didn\u2019t see ourselves really proceeding with a full engagement leading to marriage and we\u2019re just better off as friends,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n She then added that \u201cthe physical connection just simply wasn\u2019t there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a very clean, respectful realization,\u201d Brittany continued of their split. \u201cHe\u2019s just not my person.\u201d<\/p>\n Brittany also reflected on the show\u2019s decision to not have them continue their journey in Mexico, and she admitted that she understood their reasoning.<\/p>\n \u201cI was definitely disappointed because you build such a strong relationship with everyone on the show, all the girls, so of course not filming and being with them and having fun was something to be sad about,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I knew we were the weakest link. Let\u2019s just be honest, I was the only one that didn\u2019t say, \u2018I love you\u2019 back to the person I was engaged to, so I was not surprised.\u201d<\/p>\n Following her split from Leo, Brittany sparked romance rumors with Mod Sun<\/b> in November when <\/span>they were spotted packing on the PDA<\/span><\/a> during an outing in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n The pair appeared to be in good spirits as they danced and kissed, according to footage obtained by TMZ<\/em>.
