(Photo via Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nIn a new interview with Fox News, author and royal expert Christopher Andersen says that Meghan made the right call, as the trip would\u2019ve been bad for her relationship with her in-laws \u2026 and even worse for her mental health.<\/p>\n
\u201cHarry will be cheered, but he will also probably be booed, and he is also likely to feel sidelined and marginalized,\u201d Andersen explained. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut there\u2019s no doubt that this was the right decision. I\u2019m sure King Charles is breathing a sigh of relief. \u201cOne has to wonder, however, how Meghan feels about all this,\u201d Andersen said. <\/p>\n
\u201cDoes she fully support Harry\u2019s decision to go solo, or did she beg him to stay behind with her and the children in Montecito? Was this a bone of contention between them?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\nInsiders say Harry and Meghan felt snubbed after seeing King Charles\u2019 first official photo. \u201cHowever, if Meghan is only reluctantly supporting Harry\u2019s decision or opposes it, you can only imagine what a strain that might put on their marriage going forward,\u201d Andersen continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy guess is that they both understand this is a do-or-die moment in their relationship with the royal family. But according to journalist Omid Scobie, Harry will likely show his allegiance to his wife by high-tailing it out of England as soon as the ceremony is over.<\/p>\n
\u201cExpect it to be a fairly quick trip to the U.K. for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey,\u201d Scobie tweeted.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re sure Harry would prefer to skip the ordeal entirely \u2014 but at least he\u2019s doing his best to keep everyone happy.<\/p>\n
