Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/em><\/a> newbie Bronwyn Newport<\/strong><\/a> and \u201cfriend of\u201d cast member Britani Bateman<\/strong> have butted heads since the first episode of season 5<\/a>. In a recent clip, Lisa Barlow<\/strong> said that she \u201cknew [Bronwyn] didn\u2019t like [Britani] because she thought [Britani] lied about being on Broadway.\u201d<\/p>\n It all went down during the RHOSLC<\/em> After Show<\/em><\/a> that aired on Wednesday, December 4. The next shot featured Bronwyn, 39, having a discussion with costar Whitney Rose<\/strong> about Britani\u2019s alleged lie.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, I am new in the Broadway world,\u201d Bronwyn began. \u201cI just produced my first show and I have two more coming out in the next season, so I\u2019m not an expert, but I can definitely tell you, in my very short-lived Broadway experience, I have not come across Britani\u2019s name in a Broadway capacity. I know she tells people that.\u201d<\/p>\n Whitney, 38, interjected and asked if Britani, 51, had \u201cclaimed Broadway.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cVery much so,\u201d Bronwyn continued. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t believe the word \u2018accoladed\u2019 is a real word either. I know she uses that in her bio. That is a made-up word.\u201d<\/p>\n Viewers then saw a title card that proved \u201caccoladed\u201d is actually a real word and Britani used it correctly. Bronwyn said she would \u201clove to see what those accolades are,\u201d as the Wild Rose Beauty founder said that while she has \u201csupported local theater\u201d in the Salt Lake City area, she had \u201cnever seen\u201d Britani \u201cperform.\u201d<\/p>\n Britani defended her claims to Lisa, 49, and said that she and one of Andy Cohen\u2019s<\/strong> friends \u201cwere in the same Broadway show together.\u201d She then specified it was the \u201csecond national tour of \u2018Miss Saigon.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t sing, and everyone\u2019s seen me dance because it\u2019s awful, so I\u2019m not saying I\u2019m a better performer than Britani, but I think you should be proud of what you\u2019ve done and not exaggerate,\u201d Bronwyn continued when the cameras returned to her and Whitney. \u201cSo, if Britani was in a touring production or a high school production or sings in her shower, then she should just keep it to that. She doesn\u2019t need to say she was on Broadway if she wasn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Britani claimed that Bronwyn \u201ctold [her] off-camera that she knows that [she] knows that [she] did Broadway.\u201d Lisa was visibly shocked at the confession.<\/p>\n \u201cThen that\u2019s, like, a lie because she\u2019s vehement with me that you never did,\u201d Lisa replied.<\/p>\n Bronwyn later added that \u201cthe shade\u201d from her was because Britani was allegedly \u201cexaggerating.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think she\u2019s probably a great performer. She\u2019s probably a great singer,\u201d Bronwyn said. \u201cI mean, she\u2019s probably in that world. I just don\u2019t think she\u2019s in that world to the level that she likes to tell everyone she is.\u201d<\/p>\n
