His attorney filed a notice of voluntary dismissal on his behalf on Tuesday, June 11, said <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/06\/11\/rory-mcilroy-files-to-dismiss-divorce-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TMZ<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Curiouser and curiouser. There\u2019s been a lot going on this year, golf wise and then obviously personal wise as well,\u201d he told the Northern Irish host (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbnews.com\/sport\/golf\/rory-mcilroy-wife-eric-stoll-divorce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GB News<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had to take a little bit of a break and get away from the game more than anything else.
