6 December 2024<\/time>\n <\/p>\nSnoop Dogg’s daughter has “always been depressed” since being diagnosed with lupus in her younger years.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nSnoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus recounts depression battle<\/p>\n\nCori Broadus used to question why she suffered from the autoimmune condition at a young age, and she went into a “dark, deep space” when the coronavirus pandemic struck. <\/p>\n\nSpeaking on E! show ‘Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story’, she said: “Since a little girl I\u2019ve always been depressed, I\u2019ve always been \u2018why me?’ <\/p>\n\n“Just being young and sick with Lupus, it was hard.<\/p>\n\n“Going to the doctors all the time, taking blood pressure medications. So, once COVID hit, I was just in a dark, deep space.”<\/p>\n\nCori was admitted to a mental health facility after she tried to take her own life amid the pandemic, but she is grateful to have the support of her fianc\u00e9 Wayne Duece. <\/p>\n\nShe added: “I was in a mental facility because I tried to commit suicide, I think, in 2021.<\/p>\n\n“I am so lucky to have Wayne, but still, we\u2019re all going through something. <\/p>\n\n“It will be OK, and it does come with time. <\/p>\n\n“I feel like, when we\u2019re in a certain space or place, it feels like the end of the world.”<\/p>\n\nIn January, Cori was hospitalised after she suffered a stroke, and the 25-year-old entrepreneur admitted she was “scared” at the time. <\/p>\n\nSpeaking in the three-part series, she said: “My health was declining.<\/p>\n\n“Doctor comes in, ‘Cori, you had a stroke.’ I’m hurting, I’m scared. Why is this happening to me?”<\/p>\n\nCori spent a week in hospital after suffering a stroke at ‘The Underdoggs’ premiere, and she kept her followers regularly updated.<\/p>\n\nAlongside a photo of herself in her hospital bed, Cori wrote on Instagram at the time: “I had a severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when they told me. (sic)”<\/p>\n\nDays later, she announced her kidneys were already “improving so much”.<\/p>\n\nShe wrote on her Instagram Stories: “God is working overtime you hear me!
