Devin was also ordered not to have contact with the woman he was accused of assaulting.<\/p>\n In August 2022, police announced that they were investigating a 2017 rape allegation made against Devin by a woman named Lisa Smith<\/strong>. The woman had initially filed a police report about her alleged rape in 2017, but she never received any follow-ups. She reached out to the police about the report again after hearing about Devin\u2019s 2021 arrest.<\/p>\n Lisa claimed that she had been friends with Devin for 15 years when he allegedly drugged her drink and raped her. Devin has not been charged in connection to Lisa\u2019s allegations, and he denied the accusations in a phone call with CNN<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe did not have sex,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Devin\u2019s domestic violence trial was initially delayed due to the actor being hospitalized for an undisclosed reason in January 2024. His lawyers told the judge at the time that he had been in \u201ccritical condition,\u201d according to TMZ<\/em><\/a>. However, a family member later told the outlet that Devin was released from the hospital and \u201cback home resting on doctor\u2019s orders.\u201d<\/p>\n They did not elaborate on the timeline of the health scare or Devin\u2019s medical issue.<\/p>\n Devin reportedly still lives in his birthplace of New York City as of 2024.
