\t\t<\/p>\n The Mara sisters enjoyed a night out together!<\/p>\n Kate Mara<\/strong><\/a> and Rooney Mara<\/strong><\/a> stepped out to attend the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection (LCRP) Reception<\/em><\/strong> on Wednesday (December 4) in West Hollywood, Calif.<\/p>\n The sisters were joined at the event by Kate<\/strong>\u2018s husband Jamie Bell<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Kate<\/strong> and Rooney<\/strong> have been supporting the organization ever since traveling to Liberia in 2018 to learn about the work being done there.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce we had the opportunity to be face-to-face with these incredible animals, there was just no turning back,\u201d Kate<\/strong> told People <\/a><\/em>in December 2020. \u201cThey\u2019re very similar to human babies. At first, we made sure to really give them their space and let them come to us until they were ready to explore.
