Taylor Swift<\/b><\/a> subtly reacted to her boyfriend, <\/span>Travis Kelce<\/b><\/a>, being nominated as the Man of the Year by the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n The Chiefs\u2019 Instagram account<\/a> posted a video on Thursday, December 5, announcing that Travis, 35, had been selected to be the team\u2019s nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know him for what he does on Sundays, but his efforts reach further than the football field. Thank you for all that you do @killatrav,\u201d the caption read alongside a video that showed Travis making charitable contributions. \u201cVote Travis for the Charity Challenge at the link in our bio!\u201d<\/p>\n Soon after the video was uploaded, Taylor, 34, showed her support by \u201cliking\u201d the post.<\/p>\n According to the team\u2019s website<\/a>, the award is \u201cthe league\u2019s most prestigious honor, recognizing players who excel on the field and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the game.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis recalled how his upbringing made him want to give back to those in need in the video, and he credited his parents, Donna Kelce<\/b> and <\/span>Ed Kelce<\/b>, and his brother, <\/span>Jason Kelce<\/b>, for serving as his inspiration.<\/p>\n \u201cI had a beautiful childhood and that has everything to do with my parents and the family aspect I grew up [with] in Cleveland Heights, Ohio,\u201d the professional athlete said. \u201cThe east side of Cleveland is such a melting pot of social class and race and religion and I was able to relate to all those kids growing up and really appreciate everyone for who they were.\u201d<\/p>\n After Travis joined the Chiefs in 2013, he created his foundation, 87 and Running, to help those in the community. \u201cI created it because I really wanted to make sure the city felt as much love from me as I do on Sundays,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n Taylor subtly showed her support for Travis after more than one year of dating. Ever since they confirmed their relationship<\/a> in September 2023, the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d singer has attended many of the Chiefs games to cheer on Travis.
