Google CEO Sundar Pichai says the company\u2019s search engine will \u201cchange profoundly\u201d in 2025. \u201cI think we are going to be able to tackle more complex questions than ever before,\u201d Pichai said during the NYT<\/em>\u2019s DealBook Summit<\/a> on Wednesday. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI think you\u2019ll be surprised, even early in \u201825, the kind of newer things Search can do compared to where it is today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Pichai also responded to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella\u2019s comment from earlier this year, in which he said Google should\u2019ve been the \u201cdefault winner\u201d in the AI race<\/a>. \u201cI would love to do a side-by-side comparison of Microsoft\u2019s own models and our models,\u201d Pichai said. He added that Microsoft is \u201cusing someone else\u2019s models,\u201d alluding to the company\u2019s partnership with OpenAI.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhen I look at what\u2019s coming ahead, we are in the earliest stages of a profound shift,\u201d Pichai said. \u201cI just think there\u2019s so much innovation ahead. We are committed to being at the state of the art in this field, and I think we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
