Even if Vanderpump Rules<\/em> <\/a>didn\u2019t go through a cast overhaul, Katie Maloney<\/strong><\/a> says she still wouldn\u2019t have come back for season 12.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t plan on returning,\u201d Katie, 37, revealed on the Wednesday, December 4, episode of her \u201cDisrespectfully\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI had made a decision months ago after this past season. I needed to move on with my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Katie recalled making the choice before Vanderpump Rules<\/em> was \u201cput on pause,\u201d adding, \u201cI had talked to our producers about it and I told them my decision on that. I felt personally ready to move on from the show. I felt like my life and where I was at was moving in a different direction. Mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, I was prepared to move on from the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

After being on the Bravo show since it premiered in 2013<\/a>, Katie was ready for something new.<\/p>\n

Cameras started following the staff at Lisa Vanderpump\u2019s West Hollywood restaurant SUR in 2012 after she rose to fame on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Season 1 of Pump Rules, which premiered in January 2013, starred Lisa, Stassi Schroeder, Jax [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt had been a long time. I lived many lives and went through so much on that show,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt just got to a point where I don\u2019t know that I can live and grow and be the version of myself I want to be on this show any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vanderpump Rules<\/em> has been a consistent presence after getting its start as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> and evolving into its own hugely popular franchise. In the aftermath of Tom Sandoval<\/strong>\u2018s affair with Rachel Leviss<\/strong>, the show picked up cameras immediately<\/a> to document season 11. The episodes, however, were met with mixed reactions and ultimately the show was put on pause amid cast tension.<\/p>\n

Last month, Bravo confirmed that season 12 begins production next year<\/a> with Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong> and a new group of cast members.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile some things never change, the cast of Vanderpump Rules is used to a shake-up \u2026 and a touch-up. Vanderpump Rules was introduced to Bravo viewers during a special episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in January 2013. Season 1 starred Lisa Vanderpump, who was a Beverly Hills Housewife at the time, Stassi [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe group and the dynamic and what makes the show that show would be hard to do because it was so fractured at the end there,\u201d Katie noted on Wednesday. \u201cAnd many of us don\u2019t hang out. There might be some people that talk to this person or these people hang out or these two hang out. But as far as it being like a cohesive unit, it just doesn\u2019t exist anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Katie wasn\u2019t surprised that Bravo made some changes considering<\/a> Vanderpump Rules<\/em> \u201cdidn\u2019t exist\u201d in the way fans loved anymore. Despite her plans to exit the show, Katie is still mourning the experience after over a decade on screen.<\/p>\n
