\t\t<\/p>\n Chris Evans<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 is a true fan-favorite within the MCU for his portrayal of Captain America<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Casting him as Steve Rogers took his star power to the next level and is widely regarded as one of Marvel<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s best casting decisions. However, we came pretty close to having someone else carry the hero\u2019s iconic shield. <\/p>\n The actor is so well-cast in the role that it\u2019s like he\u2019s playing himself.
